What is a proper volume of stocks ?
If there are a lot of stocks, the place is taken up, the cash flow decreases,
and management is damaged.
Oppositely, when the stock is a too little, the responsibility of power
supply to the customer cannot be accomplished. It becomes the opportunity
loss and a confidence decrease, and this becomes the damage of management,
too.
A proper volume of stocks synchronizes with demand, and has changed every
day. Therefore, it is general to often rely on intuition, the experience,
and the courage of the person in charge of the stock order.
Number of shipments is assumed to be grounds, and this software is a probability
and statistically calculates the quantity safety stock, and automatically
informs you Order Point (When you order if becoming the remainder how many?).
【How to use】
Input "Recently 30days Shipped Quantity (Shipment data the 30th)", "Lead Time (Period that requires it for procurement)", "Order Quantity (Quantity that arrives by one order)" and "Dangerous rate (either 5% or 1% is selected)".
When "Calculation" button is pushed, "Best order point" and "Maximum stock quantity (=Necessary warehouse space)" is displayed most downward.
【Function】
The loading data function is provided. Because it is serious to input
data and the basic data the 30th every day.
The data input at the end is preserved automatically. The preserved data
is load by pushing "Load Data" button.
【Notes】
More the shipment results data is because the difference of the shipment
is calculated as "Standard deviation", the more reliability increases.
However, the input is serious. The relation of the trade-off at reliability
and time has been approved. So I judged that number about 30 of samples
was appropriate. It is data of about just one month.
The blank not input cell counts as "0", so input the data the
30th, please.
About a dangerous rate, Generally 5% becomes "Probability of not
happening" 1% by "Probability of your may being to say that it
will not happen".The amount of a necessary stock at that time becomes
"Infinity" in the calculation as a person in charge of the stock
though it might be a place in which it wants to aim at the dangerous rate
0%.
When dramatic variations that do not exist in results the 30th occur in
the market (The big client is generated, No one buys it by restyling, etc.)
